A man’s point of view
Some women and most definitely a high proportion of Eastern European, Russian women wear their hopes and dreams and hearts on their sleeves . To a certain kind of man they immediately become "easy prey". As I have grown up with English women but traveled extensively, I can safely tell you from my direct experiences, that this sincerity and openness is not found here in any way to the same immediate degree or intensity.
Therefore, for many men, meeting such a "new" and different approach is like giving a predatory wild animal a new type of "free" food and diet .
This does not make such men a total danger. Rather, you should realize they have entered a new and different culture which they most certainly do not understand and initially the situation is simply that they are very happy to play with their new "toys.
To any women recognizing these factors and the general scenario, I say , keep prospective suitors on a tight leash . And rewrite your profile in a way which initially is more light hearted and wider --- to start with pen pals, friendship, romance, travel rather than marriage. Think and talk "marriage” after you have met and found you have a friend whom you also find attractive physically and mentally.
So many women personals ads seem to read “Emotionally Desperate" in their sub-text though literally they only report the Truth.
